The names, email addresses and other information entered on this journal site are used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

Data We Collect

Account data: full name, email address, affiliation, country, ORCID iD, and an encrypted password.
Submission data: manuscript files, correspondence history, review comments, and supporting files.
Technical data: server access logs and aggregate usage statistics for reporting purposes.

How We Use It

To manage submission, review, editing and publication.
To contact authors, editors and reviewers about journal business.
To send issue announcements and calls for papers — which may be switched off at any time in account settings.
To deposit article metadata with indexing services and Crossref, as is standard in scholarly publishing.

Data Concerning Community Partners

Personal data of residents or partners appearing within a manuscript does not belong to the journal; responsibility for it rests with the authors. The editorial office may require anonymisation, removal of sensitive data, or evidence of consent before an article is published.

Cookies

This site uses only the session cookies required for the OJS platform to function, such as maintaining a logged-in session. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.

Data Retention and User Rights

Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by writing to ejcee@equaril.com. Deleting an account does not remove the metadata of articles already published, because the scholarly record is permanent and its integrity depends on that permanence.
